PURPOSE:To improve elution and decoloration performance and to prevent recoloring due to residual dyes in storage in the lapse of time and deterioration of sensitivity by incorporating a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:The compound to be added is represented by the formula shown on the right in which each of R1 and R2 is 1-4C alkyl; R3 is H, halogen, hydroxy, 1-3C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy, 1-3C alkylsulfonamide, or 2-4C alkylcarboxamide; each of R4 and R5 is 1-6C alkyl; and R6 is H, halogen, 1-3C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy, thus permitting the obtained silver halide photographic sensitive material to be superior in elution and decoloration performance in photographic processing, not to recolor in the lapse of time, and to contain dyes superior in aptitude for photographic processing enhanced in development speed. |
