Method and device for levelling construction or civil engineering works, in which a bottom part with adjustment features is driven firmly into the ground, where it is to remain for more than one working day. A body with a vertical scale arranged on it is releasably connected to the bottom part. The part with the vertical scale can preferably be read from all sides and is designed preferably with NAP markings. The application represents a continuation of the instrument support described in application 9200345 in the matter of support; dated 5 March 1992.
