In order that in one tempo of work one will be able to sow out grass seed or other seed, to put it down into the soil, to cultivate the soil and after the sowing to leave a smooth surface of soil without up-sticking stones or similar a sowing machine has been produced, which according to the invention consists of the following combination of parts which are known before in themselves: a fore cart (1), the frame (7) of which carries a sow box (9) having feeding openings for the seed, said fore cart is carried by a lattice roller (4), said roller is driven by a motor (8) and is rolling on the ground for putting down the seed, a clod-crusher (14), which is connected to the frame and is skidding on the ground for smoothing the soil, and a back cart (7), which is carried by a further lattice roller (16) and has a chair (17) for the driver of the machine, said back cart being connected to the frame of the fore cart vertically stiff but horizontally swingable. |
