PURPOSE:To improve shielding effect by combining a cylindrical member composed of a plurality of axially extending plates disposed in a lapped manner and disc members mounted displaceably in relation to the cylindrical member and winding a shielding pipe around the cylindrical member and the disc members. CONSTITUTION:When a very cold fluid such an liquid nitrogen is introduced into a shielding pipe 8 wound around a ahielding tank, the shielding pipe 8 is axially contracted. As the shielding tank does not immediately reach the very low temperature, there occurs a temperature difference between the shielding tank and the pipe 8, so that the shielding tank is radially inwardly restricted. Plates 7a, 7d are movably lapped one over another and displaceable in slots formed in disc members 9, 10 so as to absorb the thermal contraction of the shielding pipe 8. In other words, as the shielding tank itself is contractable, no limination is required for application of the shielding pipe 8. assuring improved shielding effect. |
