PURPOSE:To preferably separate colors in a 2-color printing by laminating a first ink layer and a second ink layer which contain metal powder on a support, and specifying the bonding strengths between the support and the first layer and the first layer and the second layer. CONSTITUTION:First and second ink layers 3, 4 which contain flaky metal powder are sequentially laminated on a support 2 to form a thermal sensitive transfer material 1. Further, it is necessary that the magnitude relationship between the bonding strength (F2) between the layers 3 and 4 and the bonding strength (F1) between the layer 3 and the support 2 becomes reverse at the times of relatively high and low temperatures. F1>F2 is satisfied at the time of relatively high temperature, and F1<F2 is satisfied at the time of relatively low temperature. Metal powder contained in the layer 3 is preferably acicular or flaky with a maximum diameter of 1-10mum. |
