摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the error rate adjustment system for a light receiving device capable of automatically setting an optimum adjustment value of a 3R function against temperature fluctuation and power supply fluctuation or the like. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with an arithmetic operation processing section 130 receiving an error rate signal being an output of an error rate measurement section 170 and outputting a signal used to adjust optimizingly an amplification factor of a light receiving element 100 and a gain of an equalization amplifier 200 and a signal used to adjust optimizingly an identification level in an identification circuit 300 at an ambient temperature, and adding it to the equalizing amplifier 200 and a signal to adjust optimizingly at an ambient temperature a phase of an output clock of a timing circuit 400 and to add it to a timing circuit 400, and with a storage section 150 storing each optimum adjustment value of the amplification factor of the light receiving element 100, the gain and the identification level of the equalization amplifier 200 and a phase of the timing clock at an ambient temperature, data stored in the storage section 150 are read at an optional time during communication and the error rate is automatically set to a prescribed range at all times.
