PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic recorder capable of preventing the pollution of the rear surface of a recording paper with toner stuck to a transfer roller, the decrease of transfer efficiency, etc. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 is rotated by a main driving system 10 according to a detection that a device cover is closed from an opened state by a cover opening/closing sensor 13, to electrify the photosensitive drum 1 by an electrifier 2, a switch 7 is turned on to apply a developing bias to a developing roller 34 and a switch 34 becomes a first state (a state where a transfer voltage generated by a transfer power source 52 is applied to the transfer roller 51) or a second state (a state where a roller cleaning voltage generated by a roller cleaning power source 53 is applied to the transfer roller 51), at least, once in a state where the rotation of the developing roller 34 is stopped by a developing resist driving system 11. |
