<p>PURPOSE:To standardize a sprite display method and to facilitate programming by introducing a table which controls a sprite and controlling the sprite according to this table. CONSTITUTION:Two spirtes which constitute one image are handled as if they were one sprite by introducing a CG(character generator) X and the inverse of X. Namely, the rear half pattern part of an automobile is pointed in this case and when CGY = 0 and CGX = 0, only one sprite unit is displayed on a screen, so only the rear half part of the automobile is displayed. When '1' is set in the CGX, the sprite whose pattern number has its bit 1 (PC1) set to '0' between the specified sprites to be displayed is displayed on the left side and the sprite whose PC1 set to '1' are displayed while horizontally connected. Therefore, the front half part of the automobile as the left side and the rear half as the right are connected and displayed according to the values of the inverse of X and the inverse of Y.</p> |
