The refuse container with slide for towns, villages, park facilities, etc, consists of galvanised sheet metal. The lid, as a protection against rain, can be swung up. As a base, the container has a stable slide which, during emptying, can be pulled out horizontally as far as the stop. An inclined metal plate fixed to the inner end face of the container scrapes the refuse completely into the collection container positioned beneath it. A box spanner opens the lock of the slide, and it cannot be removed again until the slide has been pushed in and closed. With the aid of the slide and of the inclined metal plate, the refuse container can be emptied simply and completely cleanly. In the case of refuse containers which are already in circulation, not all the soiling can be removed by tipping during emptying. Residues remain, in particular, on the container bottom as a result of this, and these can contain pathogens and attract insects. The new refuse container with slide is of great value to hygiene and health. It can be emptied simply and completely cleanly.
