PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fiber having improved flexibility at a low temp. by incorporating poly-n-butylmethacrylate to a core material, and a copolymer which is composed of a fluorovinylidene and tetrafluoroethylene or hexafluoropropylene and has a cross-linked structure to a clad material, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The titled fiber comprises the poly-n-butylmethacrylate in the core material, and the copolymer which is composed of fluorovinylidene and tetrafluoroethylene or hexafluoropropylene and has a cross-linked structure in the clad material, respectively. The titled fiber enables to maintain flexibility, even in case of the titled fiber having a relatively large diameter and is integrally formed with the clad material with ease, by a melt co-extrusion method, by using the poly-n-butylmethacrylate which has a glass transition temp. of a room temp., as the core material. The titled fiber enables to obtain the shape stability in a high use temp. by using the copolymer which is composed of the fluoronated vinylidene and the tetrafluoroethylene or hexafluoropropylene and has the cross-linked structure,for the clad material. Thus, the titled fiber having the very good flexibility at a low temp. and the good shape stability, even in case of the high use temp., is obtd. |
