A roadway etc. can be temporarily shut off by a transportable gate or barrier. The gate consists of a horizontal support arm (1) of hollow rectangular cross-section. Lugs are fitted to one end of the bar to enable it to be hinged to a vertical post (4). The support arm has a row of holes in its upper and lower sides which receive vertical bars (2), retained by a rod inside the horizontal support arm which passes through diametral holes in the bars. |
