PURPOSE:To suppress the unbalanced vibration of a rotary tank, by providing an annular chamber sealed with a liquid and a sphere to the rotary tank as the balancer of a centrifugal rotary machine. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary tank 4 is subjected to rotary driving in a dehydration process, an annular case 9 is rotated along with the rotary tank 4. Whereby, the rotation of the annular chamber 9 is transmitted to the liquid W in said tank by the resistance board 16 provided in the annular chamber 9. By this rotation and the characteristics of a vibration system, force such that the liquid W is rapidly gathered to the direction opposite to the unbalance of an article to be washed is generated. In this case, a sphere 12 is moved to the direction opposite to the unbalance of the article to be washed with the movement of the liquid W along the communication path 15 provided to the bottom part of the annular chamber 10 by gravity. When rotation is further raised, the sphere 12 rises along inclined surfaces 14b, 14a and stopped in the vicinity of the upper end thereof. The liquid level of the liquid W comes to the vertical surface almost parallel to the outer peripheral surface 14 to be balanced.
