PURPOSE:To make it posible to close up the opening of a ball retainer always tight even in the case when the power transmission is performed in a condition that a link connecting rod and so on is inclined, by bending a flexible portion together with glueing a retainer engaging part of a boot to the boot engaging part of the ball retainer. CONSTITUTION:A ball joint 1 consists of a ball pin 3 fixed to a link arm 2 and a ball retainer 5 installed on a link connecting rod 4. In this case, a boot engaging part 19 is provided on the outer periphery of the opening 12 side of a spherical concave 11 which is connected to the ball pin 3 in the ball retain er 5 through spherical cotraposition. While, a boot 30 is made up of a circular projecttion 31 serving as a retainer engaging part which engages to a boot engaging part 19, a circular rib 32 which fits to the stem 3b of the ball pin 3 and a film-like flexible part 33 which connects the circular projection 31 to the rib 32. According to this, the opening 12 is made to be possible always to close up tightly by bending the flexible part 33 together with glueing the circular projection 31 to the boot engaging part 19. |
