PURPOSE:To form an image of high quality having no color shift by storing a pulse pattern which cancels speed variation of one turn of a photosensitive body driven by gear trains having teeth at an integral ratio and driving a stepping motor according to the pattern. CONSTITUTION:The numbers of teeth of the gear trains 20a-20d through which a photosensitive body 1 is driven by the stepping motor 21 is set to the integral ratio, and then the same gears engage each other at any time, so the rotating speed variation due to an engagement error among the gears has a period equal to one turn of the photosensitive body. The pulse pattern which cancels the speed variation pattern is stored in a pattern storage memory 24, and the motor 21 is driven according to the pulse pattern from the position where the home position of the photosensitive body is detected by a slit internal plate 22 and an interrupter 23. Plural photosensitive bodies are rotates at this set speed and then an image of plural colors has good synchronism and high quantity without any color shift. |
