<p>The invention relates to a device which fits onto a barbecue made for this purpose and automatically turns the skewers or spits without the need for supervision or hand power. It consists of a housing (1) containing gear wheels (2), of which the central one (3) has a spindle (4). This spindle (4) is inserted into the socket (5) of a motor running on a single 1.5 volt cell mounted on the housing (1). Each wheel (2), including the central driving wheel (3), has a square central hole in order to hold the skewers or spits, which are also square. As soon as the motor is turned on, the driving wheel (3) transmits the motion to the gear wheels (2) and so turns the spits. <IMAGE></p> |
