<p>PURPOSE:To quickly restore display contents modified with a window by combining a display device where the contents of a specific area on a memory device reflect the display state, a stored contents transfer means, and a stored contents exchanging means. CONSTITUTION:A window processing means which controls a microcomputer 11, the stored contents exchanging means, the stored contents transfer means, an input code discriminating means, etc., are provided in a memory device 12. For the purpose of restoring the display broken during the window processing, the contents of a video RAM (VRAM) are transferred to a save video RAM (SVRAM) just before the window processing and the contents of the SVRAM are transferred to the VRAM after the window processing. When a key code for display is released, the contents of both RAMs are exchanged, and display contents are restored to the state during the window processing, and the contents of the SVRAM are restored to the state just before the input of the key code for display.</p> |
