<p>PURPOSE:To secure a controller for such a swash plate type compressor that is excellent in responsiveness and a pull-down characteristic, by controlling interconnection control over a crankcase land a suction chamber so as to keep the total of pressure inside the crankcase and that inside the suction chamber constant. CONSTITUTION:A discharge capacity controller 8 is constituted of a valve mechanism 85 opening or closing an interconnecting passage with an interconnecting hole 81 leading to a suction chamber 15 and a crankcase 2, and in this valve mechanism 85, there are provided with a bellows unit 84 or the first pressure sensitive part set up in a casing 83 and an actuating valve 85a of a second pressure sensitive part. Pressure inside the crankcase 2 acts on a part of a difference between an effective sectional area of the bellows unit 84 and an opening area of an opening 86b at a time when the actuating valve 85a takes a valve seat, while pressure inside the suction chamber 15 acts on the actuating valve 85a facing to the opening 86b. Therefore, the actuating valve 85a is opened when the total sum of pressure in both these chambers 2 and 15 becomes more than the specified value, whereby pressure inside the crankcase 2 is not largely varied at all so that a pull-down characteristic and responsiveness are well improvable.</p> |
