<p>PURPOSE:To arrange plural pairs of electrical connecting wires by installing brushes projecting in the reverse direction each other onto the boss plate of a steering wheel and arranging slip rings coaxially with a wheel main shaft. CONSTITUTION:A fixed gear 2 is installed at the top edge of a steering column 1, and a static gear 6 is installed onto a main shaft 4 over a wheel boss part 3 through a bearing 5. A rotary shaft 7 which vertically projects through the boss plate 3a of the boss part 3 is installed onto the boss plate 3a, and planetary gears 9 and 10 which mesh with the upper and lower gears 6 and 2 are fixed at the upper and lower edges of the rotary shaft 7. Slip rings 11 and 12 are installed onto the opposed surfaces between the both gears 6 and 2, and brushes 13 and 14 which are installed in vertical projection onto the boss plate 3a are attached onto the slip rings 11 and 12. Each brush 13, 14 is installed onto the boss plate 13a through an insulating case 15 and can be electricity-supplied through a coil spring 16 built in the insulating case 15.</p> |
