PURPOSE:To invariably allow operations under a normal condition by providing a sensor measuring a gap in the perpendicular direction to a slide guide face near a land section and issuing a warning when the gap is the preset gap quantity or less. CONSTITUTION: A non-contact type displacement gauge sensor 5 is fixed in the perpendicular direction to a slide guide face 2a on the outside of a land section 3, with the measuring face facing a slide guide face 1a, and a gap with the bed slide guide face 1a is measured. The position of the tip of the displacement gauge sensor 5 is made equal to the top face 3a of the land section 3, and it is connected to a control unit with an electric wire. The displacement gauge sensor 5 capable of measuring up to at least 1/100 mm is used, a gap slightly larger than a danger region is stored in the control unit as a preset value, and when the gap becomes this value, a warning is issued to inform of abnormality, and simultaneously a machine is stopped. |
