Date Feb. 26, 1987.Centrifugal speed governor of fuel injection pumps for internal combustion engines comprising a centrifugal force adjuster, which actuates an articulated head with its centrifugal weights. The articulated head articulates a double-armed guide lever with brackets by means of an axle. The axle 17 is supported by means of a cross bearing in the articulated head and in a borehole has an oblong cross section which in the adjusting direction, so that the axle can execute a limited swiveling movement about the cross bearing in the borehole.
