<p>PURPOSE:To attain the communication of extensions between facsimile equipments by providing a polarity inversion detection circuit detecting the polarity inversion of a trunk line to a trunk line interface circuit and providing a dial signal detection circuit detecting a dial signal to a facsimile terminal interface circuit detecting a dial signal to a facsimile terminal interface circuit. CONSTITUTION:At the call of a facsimile equipment 50, a facsimile terminal interface device 51' is not connected unconditionally. Whether the destination is a trunk line or an extension is discriminated from the dial signal of the FAX 50 and a call and connection control are applied respectively to the trunk line and the extension depending on the result of discrimination. Thus, if plural extensions connected to a facsimile equipment exist, the facsimile equipment can make communication with facsimile equipments connected via a trunk line and facsimile equipments being extension.</p> |
