PURPOSE:To be able to obtain an accurate optical output by a current control system by providing means for adding a current correction by a deviation to eliminate the deviation of a detecting optical output and a set optical output. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic corrector 7 for monitoring a deviation between the set optical output of an output setter 4 and the detecting optical output of a resonator 1 detected by an optical output detector 6 is provided. When the deviation occurs, a correction amount of a proper output current is calculated to eliminate the deviation, and it is output as a correction signal to a current controller 3. Reference characteristics 11 are obtained by characteristic measuring test after a device is manufactured, and input as initial data to the corrector 7. When the optical output characteristic when the device is actually operated becomes a characteristic curve 12 or 13, the displacement 14 or 15 from the characteristics 11 is calculated as a current correction amount. When the current correction amounts are calculated in advance with respect to the several points of the optical output, the current correcting amount can be immediately obtained for the arbitrary set outputs. |
