<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the probability of collision by identifying an input means receiving a signal earliest, controlling a connection means in response thereto and opening the connection with an output means as to all input means except the identified input means thereby preventing loss of the tip of a packet. CONSTITUTION:When an input signal comes to any of input channels i0-i7 in an idle state, the first-come input signal detection section 50 uses first-come logic to detect a channel having the input signal earliest among the input channels i0-i7. A signal representing a first-come input channel is outputted to a switching gate section 40 by a connection section 80 and to a sequence control section 90 by a connection line 62 to open a 2-input NAND gate 42 corresponding to all input channels except the 1st-come input channel. Thus, since the input channel is always connected to the output channel in the idle state, the head of the input signal is not partly lost.</p> |
