PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having improved fixing property, without generating offset to a fixing roller, and capable of fixing at a low temp. and with a low energy by incorporating a polymer obtd. by dissolving or dispersing a cross-linked polymer and a wax-like substance in a monomer as a binding resin component to the titled composition. CONSTITUTION:The polymer usable for the binding resin component of the titled composition is produced by synthesizing the cross-linked polymer and the wax-like substance, followed by dissolving or dispersing the obtd. cross- linked polymer and wax-like substance in a monomer, or optionally using a solvent or a disperse medium, and by polymerizing the monomer in the presence of the cross-linked polymer and the wax-like substance. The titled composition is obtd. by mixing various kinds of additives to the obtd. binding resin, adding, optionally, a resin except the binding resin, a wax and rubbers, followed by melt-kneading, grinding after cooling, and classifying to obtain the titled composition having a prescribed particle size distribution. Thus, the titled composition capable of obtaining very excellent fixing property without impairing the processing, transferring and cleaning properties and productivity of the titled composition is obtd. |
