PURPOSE:To carry out the titled washing of mesh having ready structure and suitable for series of fishes and extent of leaching, by providing a jetting apparatus parallel to a rotary sieve and intermittently carrying out jet of high pressure water and stopping of the jet in order to wash meshes of the sieve. CONSTITUTION:In washing meshes of a rotary sieve used for leaching in the production of ground meat, a jetting apparatus is provided nearly parallel to the rotary sieve. Then, a timer is set so that the time for jetting high pressure water (0.5kg/cm<2>-6kg/cm<2>) and the time for stopping the jet become most suitable by kind of fish, uses of raw fish meat, etc. The high pressure water is intermittently jetted to carry out washing of sieve meshes of the rotary sieve. In above-mentioned method, when the pressure of the high pressure washing water is 2-5kg/cm<2>, jetting time and time for stopping the jet are preset and the high pressure water may be jetted through jetting nozzle by working a solenoid valve. When water pressure of jetting washing water is <=1kg/cm<2>, washing water is converted to high pressure water by pump, etc., and the high pressure water is jetted from a jet nozzle. |
