PURPOSE:To decrease the number of external circuits by transforming a comparator which performs comparison of data between the arithmetic result of its own device and that of another device into an integrated circuit together with a computing element. CONSTITUTION:The arithmetic data are supplied to data input terminals 11 and 12 from the outside of an arithmetic LSI 1 via signal lines 101 and 102 and then supplied to a computing element 16 via signal lines 111 and 112 to undergo arithmetic. The data on the arithmetic results delivered from the element 16 are sent to an input/output buffer 17 and a comparator 18 via a signal line 116. While the buffer 17 sends the data received via a signal line 113 to the comparator 18 via a signal line 117 when the enable signal received via a signal line 115 is kept at 0. The comparator 18 compares the data received via the lines 116 and 117 with each other and outputs the result of this comparison to a signal line 118. |
