PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fiber having excellent heat resistance by incorporating a specific compd. to a polymer which is contained in a core component and comprises polymethylmethacrylate copolymerized with a specific amount of bornylmethacrylate, as a main component. CONSTITUTION:The titled fiber has the core-sheath structure comprising the core component composed of the polymethylmethacrylate copolymerized with 5-40mol bornylmethacrylate as the main component, and a sheath component composed of a fluorine contg. polymer. The polymer of the core component comprises at least one kind of the compd. selected from methoxyhydroquinone, 2,4-dimethyl-6-t-butylphenol and triethylene glycol bis-[3(3-t-butyl-5-methyl-4- hydroxyphenyl)propionate] in an amount of about 10-5,000ppm. The polymer of the sheath component is composed of the polymer having a less refractive index than that of the core component, and is for example, a fluorine contg. polymer. |
