<p>PURPOSE:To improve the convenience for use by not only ejecting staples sheets to a stack tray but also inhibiting a following operation at the time of detecting that staple aciculas are about to run out. CONSTITUTION:When a staple acicula empty detecting sensor Se 3 detects that staple aciculas 106 are about to run out and issues an empty detection signal, sheets on a stapler tray are ejected to the stack tray because they are already stapled with remaining staple aciculas 106. Then, the following operation is inhibited. Thus, unstapled sheets due to stapling empty of staple aciculas 106 are prevented from being scattered on the stack tray, and stapled sheets are prevented from remaining on the stapler tray to hinder the processing after operation restart.</p> |
