PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having high sensitivity and improved bleaching property or bleach-fixing property by effecting the bleaching or bleach- fixing treatment of a silver halide color photosensitive material contg. image- wisely a fogging agent and a developing accelerator in the presence of a compd. capable of releasing the bleaching accelerator by reacting with an oxidant of a color developing agent. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photosensitive material contg. the compd. capable of releasing image-widely the fogging agent or its precursor or the developing accelerator or its precursor corresponding to an amount of developed silver at the time of developing is effected bleaching or bleach-fixing treatment in the presence of the compd. capable of releasing the bleaching accelerator by reacting with the oxidant of the color developing agent. The processing solution having bleaching ability of effecting the bleaching or bleach-fixing treatment of the titled material, is exemplified by for example, the bleach-fixing solution and the bleaching solution. The bleaching agent used in the processing solution having the bleaching ability is preferably exemplified by a metal complex salt of an org. acid such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. |
