PURPOSE:To obtain a color developing sheet having a color forming property equal to or more than that of a color developing sheet using an inorg. solid acid or a p-phenylphenol novolac resin and imparting a color image not easily fading by water, a plasticizer and light, by using kaolinite type clay mineral as pigment. CONSTITUTION:Kaolinite type clay mineral is used in a color developing layer, which contains a color developer composed of a metallic compound of a co- condensation resin using salicylic acid and alpha, alpha'-dialkoxy-p-xylene as main monomer components and a binder component, as pigment. A proper amount of a benzotriazole, benzophenone or Ni-complex type singlet oxygen quencher is together used in the metallic compound of the salicylic acid co-condensation resin in a mixed molten state in order to enhance light fastness still more. The kaolinite type clay mineral is applied to base paper along with the metallic compound color developer of the salicylic acid co-condensation resin to provide fundamental characteristics as costing paper such as sufficient whiteness, non- transparency, ink receptivity and ink glass etc. |
