PURPOSE:To obtain the title recording medium having an excellent recording regeneration characteristic and an improved regeneration deteriorating characteristic, by forming an org. membrane based on a napthalocyanine dye represented by a specific general formula on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:An optical information recording medium is constituted by forming an org. membrane based on a naphthalocyanine dye to a substrate. Said dye is represented by general formula I [wherein R1-R4 are the same or diffirent and a straight chain or branch alkyl group or halogen, n is same or different and an integer of 1-6 and Y1 and Y2 are same or different and a group selected from-R,-Ar, OR,-OAr,-OSi(R), OSiAr3,-OSi(OR)2,-OSi(OAr)3 and-OC(C6H5)3 (wherein R is a 1-18C straight chain or branch alkyl group and Ar is a group selected from a phenyl group, a substituted phenyl group, a benzyl gronp and a substituted benzyl group)]. If necessary, other layer such as a substrate layer or a protective layer can be provided. |
