PURPOSE:To make environmental control in electrode production easy and to increase storage performance of an electrode by using a conductive material comprising primary particle, having a specified particle size and molding density, obtained by the reaction of a pyrrole compound and an oxidizing agent. CONSTITUTION:A pyrrole compound such as pyrrole and N-methyl pyrrole is reacted with a cupric compound and the oxidizing agent of nitrile compound in liquid phase to obtain a black, conductive powdery product. The conductive product obtained comprising primary particles has a mean particle size of 0.01-0.4mum and a press-molding density of 1-1.6 g/cm<3>, and is mixed with a conductive material and a binder. The mixture is press molded in a disk to form a positive electrode 1. The positive electrode 1 is combined with a lithium negative electrode 2 and a polypropylene nonwoven fabric separator 3 to form a secondary battery. The obtained conductive product is easy to produce and had good oxidation resistance and large conductivity. By using this material, the environmental control for electrode production is easy and the storage performance of the electrode is also increased. |
