<p>PURPOSE:To produce documents with unified OKURI-GANA (Japanese syllabary added to Chinese character to show its Japanese declension), by providing a KANA (Japanese syllabary)-KANJI (Chinese character) inscription storing section and optimum number storing section. CONSTITUTION:To the KANA-KANJI inscription storing section 32 of a KANA- KANJI converting dictionary, OKURI-GANA omission discriminating information is given and the optimum number storing section 34 of the dictionary indicates that which is the optimum one among all KANA-KANJI inscriptions produced by changing OKURI-GANA and stores '0' unless homophones having the same meaning are produced. The capacity of the KANA-KANJI converting dictionary can be reduced by producing a homophone having the same meaning from which OKURI-GANA is deleted and, further, a homophone having different OKURI-GANA to a KANA-KANJI inscription found to be matching after dictionary retrieval when a KANA-KANJI converting process is carried out.</p> |
