HANDLING DEVICE FOR TIRE IN X-RAY TIRE INSPECTION FACILITY

PURPOSE:To mechanize the inspection of a tire by an X-ray tire inspection device installed in an inspection room and to improve the use efficiency of the inspection device by supplying a tire before inspection the tire reception position of the X-ray tire inspection device from outside the inspection room. CONSTITUTION:A carrying-in device 9 carries the tire 9 before inspection in the inspection chamber 1. A chuck part 47 on one side of a 2nd mobile device 33 holds the tire 5 at a relay position and a chuck device 36 is rotated by a rotary device 37 in such a state to change the position of both chuck parts 47. The tire 5 before inspection which is held at the cluck part 47 is moved to the tire reception position of the X-ray tire inspection device 4 and inspected. When the inspection is completed, the chuck device 36 is rotated to change the positions of both chuck parts 47, and the positions of the tire 5 before and after the inspection are changed. Thus, the tire is easily inspected and the inspection device is improved in efficiency and shortened in a cycle time.
