Table for mixing, modulating and distributing signals, by means of modulated light. The invention, which makes it possible to process N signals, adapts automatically to any configuration of the light environment. It brings together manual means of mixing and light modulation, which can be superimposed at will. It includes N modules 45 which can be automatically set to programmed rest characteristics, either separately by 27, or as a whole by 29, thus producing a programmed dispensing of N signals, which can be repatterned at will by modulating the illumination of the sensors 1 or actuating controls 25. The invention can serve as basis for the manufacture of a new generation of mixing tables which would advantageously replace those traditionally employed. It can also equip musical instruments (synthesizers) in order to produce original effects. <IMAGE>
