<p>PURPOSE:To enable continuance of sorting during duplication without removing documents thereto fore sorted, by a method wherein a sorter bin select key is provided, and a bin start position can be selected by means of plural modes. CONSTITUTION:Non-select, next stage select, and arbitrary select are selected by means of a mode select button a4, a next stage/arbitrary stage select buttom a5, and a ten key a6, respectively. Outputs from AND circuits A1-A3 are inputted to an adder C, the outputs are inputted to a sorter CPUi in synchronism with a pulse outputted from a line 15 when a copy button a2 is turned ON, and produces a sorter initial value prevailing during duplication. Meanwhile, the absolute value of a bin is outputted from a sorter body (k) through a bin ablosute position counter (g), and a signal is outputted to the sorter body (k) to move a pin position for setting until the two become equal to each other. Thus, the initial position of the sorter can be set in an arbitrary bin.</p> |
