<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a non-silver image forming material having excellent resistance to rubbing and scratching by incorporating fine PE particles into a photopolymn. photopolymer layer. CONSTITUTION:The fine PE particles are incorporated into the photopolymn. photopolymer layer of a mask layer on a base. The photopolymn. photopolymer layer consists of a high-polymer binder soluble or swellable with a developing soln., photopolymerizable monomer, photopolymn. initiator and the fine PE particles. The content of the fine PE particles is >=0.3wt% and <30wt% by the total weight of the high-polymer binder and the photopolymerizable monomer. The fine PE particles consist of a low mol.wt. PE having 1,000-6,000 average mol.wt., 90-130 deg.C softening point and 0.92-0.99g/ml density and may be subjected to oxidation modification and acid modification to permit easy dispersion into the photopolymn. photopolymer layer. The resistance to rubbing and scratching is thereby improved to a greater extent.</p> |
