<p>PURPOSE:To enable to clearly warn the succeeding automobile of the running condition and to improve safety in running by arranging the constitution in such a way that a brake stepping amount detector is provided and the current to be supplied to a tail lamp may be increased according to the stepping amount of the brake. CONSTITUTION:In the driving of a car, when a driver steps on a brake pedal 10, analog current in proportion to the stepping amount is output by a brake stepping amount detector 3 and impressed to a lamp illuminance control circuit 4. Further each output signal of a speed detection sensor 5 and an external illuminance detection sensor 6 is input into the same circuit 4. In this lamp illuminance control circuit, current value in proportion to the detected value of the brake stepping amount is calculated and this current value is compensated according to the detected value of the running speed and the external illuminance. And the constitution is so arranged that a tail lamp 12 may be lit at proper illuminance according to the output signal of the lamp illuminance control circuit 4.</p> |
