In the case of a switch having leads on the input and/or output sides which are formed in a housing part and one of whose ends is passed out of the housing part as a contact connection, its other end being constructed as a contact, each lead (11-12; 18-19-20) on the input or output side is, according to the invention, in each case interrupted between the contact connection (12, 20) and the contact (17 or 18 respectively), and the interruption point (21) is bridged by a diode (22) which is installed in the switch (1). In consequence, the circuit complexity is reduced when decoupling diodes are used. <IMAGE>
