<p>PURPOSE:To remarkably improve survival ratio of living cell with simple operation, by cooling the inside of a chamber having heat-insulated structure with liquid helium, supplying living cells together with a culture liquid through a capillary into the chamber and freezing the cell. CONSTITUTION:Vapor of liquid helium is introduced into a chamber 1 having heat-insulated structure to keep the inside of the chamber 1 at a specific temperature. Living cells are supplied together with a culture liquid through a capillary tube 3 to the chamber 1. Small particles each containing extremely small number of living cells coated with the culture liquid are produced by this process and are frozen in the chamber 1.</p> |
