<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a picture pattern having depth and good surface physical properties, by molding a laminate consisting of a base material for a decorative board, decorative paper composed of printed pattern paper treated with a thermosetting resin and a transfer sheet under pressure to obtain an integrally molded body and subsequently releasing and removing the base material for the transfer sheet. CONSTITUTION:A base material for a decorative board, decorative paper composed of printed pattern paper treated with a thermosetting resin and a transfer sheet, which is constituted of a compatible resin layer formed on one surface of the base material for the transfer sheet from a resin having compatibility to the thermosetting resin and a color printing layer formed on the surface of said resin layer, are laminated so that the surface of the decorative paper contacts with the surface of the color printing layer to form a laminate which is, in turn, integrally molded not only to cure the thermosetting resin in the laminate but also to transfer the color printing layer of the transfer sheet. This process and the process for releasing and removing the base material for the transfer sheet from the heated and pressurized molded body obtained are employed for the preparation of the title decorative board.</p> |
