The briquetting press has four pairs of counter-rotating wheels (7,8), driven by a worm. Each wheel has axial semi circular grooves, arranged so that during intermittent rotation of each wheel pair, circular channels are formed on the points of contacts. Whenever the wheel pairs stop during their intermittent rotation, a ram (5) enters the circular channel formed by the grooves of the two wheels and ejects the compressed briquette rod through channel (3) provided on the wheel-carrying shaft seated in bearing (2). The reciprocating movements of the rods (5) are controlled by an eccentric drive (23). |
