When using sets of forms or paper in office machines, it is a requirement that the individual original sheets (1) or end sheets (3) are not displaced in relation to the carbon sheet (2). In order to prevent this happening, it is known to connect the carbon sheets to the bottom sheet via a lateral adhesive edge. Since the adhesive effect of these adhesive edges is reduced very quickly in the known carbon sheets, the carbon sheets have to be thrown away although they have not yet been used up. These disadvantages are avoided according to the invention in that the carbon papers or the papers producing the copies have self-adhesive adhering surfaces of adhesion glue as adhering edges at their leading edges which pass through the printing station first. These adhering edges exhibiting adhesion glue guarantee a reliable bonding to the original sheets and the end sheets over a prolonged period. It is thus possible to use the carbon papers until they have been used up completely. Due to the fact that the adhering edges consist of self-adhesive partial zones which are not connected to one another and are arranged offset alternately on both sides of the carbon papers, the carbon sheets can easily be removed from a pile in printers with an automatic feed. <IMAGE>
