The profiled rail forms a flanged joint between two duct sections with flat side walls, at the end. The flange consists of rails at the ends of the side walls, joined to each other by corner pieces. The rail (1) is of U-shaped cross section, with its two flanges (2,4) parallel to the duct wall 815) having, at the same distance from the web (3) joining them, edges (7,8) protruding inwards and formed by shaping the rail. The corner piece is inserted between the web and the edges. One flange (4) has a slot (14), extending for its full length, in which the free end of the duct side wall fits. USE/ADVANTAGE - for air-conditioning system etc, with easy adaptation on site.
