PURPOSE:To attempt improvement of wear and abrasion resistance and erosion resistance by radiating laser beams on the surface of a valve in order to fuse, to cool rapidly and to congeal the surface. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a valve 1 consisting of 13 chromemartensite stainless steel, laser beams are radiated using an O2 laser oscillator, and the seat surface part 4 of a valve board body 3, the circumferential part and the end part 5 of a trunk body 2 can be fused, cooled rapidly and congealed. By this, wear and abrasion resistance and erosion resistance of the valve surface can be improved. |
