A driven steering axle for agricultural tractors and commercial vehicles is described, having a divided wheel hub 5, 8 which is driven via a reducing gear 9 and consists of a first hub part 5, mounted on the axle side, with a flange 5c for attaching a wheel whose rim 6 is axially adjustable relative to a dish 5b, and of a pot-shaped second hub part 8 which is fixed releasably on the first hub part 5 by means of screws 9 and encloses the end wall 8a of the wheel hub. In order, on the one hand, to reduce the construction expenditure on such a steering axle for wheels being used and, on the other hand, to improve the lubrication of the reducing gear 9 and the cooling of the lubricating oil used for this purpose, the dish 5b is integrated in the first hub part 5, and the second hub part 8 is fixed in the edge region of the first hub part 5. <IMAGE>
