PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display each of the images from plural different kinds of image sources by the same display means with the same image quality determined by this display means. SOLUTION: A display means 7 is the one with high image quality like the TFT liquid crystal panel corresponding to an XGA, for instance. From an input terminal 1, the television signal of an NTSC system is received and the television signal is converted into the video signal of a VGA signal form in an NTSC-VGA conversion circuit 4. From an input terminal 2, the image information signals of the signal forms such as the VGA, SVGA and XGA, etc., from a personal computer are inputted and the signals are switched to the video signals of the VGA signal form from the NTSC-VGA conversion circuit 11 and are selected. The output signal of a changeover switch 5 is converted into the image signal of the XGA signal form in a VGA-XGA conversion circuit 6 and the signal is supplied to the display means 7. Thus, image displays are performed for all the image signals inputted from input terminals 1 and 2 by the number of picture element (1024×768) corresponding to the XGA in the display means 7.
