PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply the optimum voltages respectively, as the primary transferring voltage at the time of transferring an image from a photoreceptor drum to an intermediate transferring drum and the secondary transferring voltage at the time of transferring from the intermediate transferring drum to a recording paper, in the case of performing an image forming on the recording paper through the intermediate transferring drum. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the drum main body 33 composed of the composition whose volume resistivity is between 10<4> to 10<8>Ωcm, and the intermediate transferring drum 16 formed by covering its outside surface by an insulator layer 34. Then, the device is made possible to apply the voltage respectively suitable for the first transferring and the second transferring, by the first transfer application roller 19 for applying the first transferring voltage, disposed on a position opposing the photoreceptor drum 21, while inscribing the intermediate transferring drum 16, and the second transferring roller 17 for applying the second transferring voltage, disposed opposite to the second grounding roller 20.
