PURPOSE:To execute an appropriate maintenance which does not depend on a human experience based on a data, by preparing a counter at every parts whose use frequency is different by the using method of a user. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic copying machine is provided with a first counting means for counting the number of copy sheets, and a second counting means for counting the use frequency of parts whose use frequency cannot be counted by the first counting means. For instance, parts are plural paper feeding parts for carrying the paper to a transfer part, and the second counting means counts the number of times of paper feeding at ever paper feeding part. Also, parts are plural paper passing means for carrying the copied paper to plural paper tray parts, and the second counting means counts the number of times of passing paper at every paper passing means. Moreover, parts are an original paper feeding means for carrying an original to an exposure position, and the second counting means counts the number of times of paper feeding of the original paper feeding means. Therefore, the maintenance of parts whose use frequency is different can be executed appropriately without depending on the human experience. |
