<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage due to erroneous operations and facilitate the control by engaging a clutch at the time of select operation after the action of a forward/reverse switching unit is completed and adjusting the start time of clutch engagement in activating a hydraulic actuator with this switching unit. CONSTITUTION:When a select bar is operated, the detent plate 115 of a shaft 114 is rotated to operate a selector valve 120. At an N range, for example, the line pressure is guided to an outlet port 121b by the selector valve 120, and another outlet port 121c is communicated to a drain port 121d. Then, oil is fed to one chamber 133b of the cylinder 133 in the hydraulic servo 130 to move a piston rod 131 to the right, thereby a sleeve 29 is engaged with the gear 21 side at a forward/reverse switching unit 3, and a main shaft 20 is directly coupled with an input shaft 13 to obtain the forward travel state. In this case, the start time of clutch engagement at the time of select operation is set somewhat larger than the synchronization time of the forward/reverse switching unit 3.</p> |
